TuyaOpen on RDK-X5
Run TuyaOpen's multimodal agent on RDK-X5's local NPU for edge AI + IoT.
Project Overview
Run TuyaOpen's multi-modal agent on an RDK X5 SBC, with AI inference on the board's integrated NPU instead of the cloud. Local processing handles the time-critical work; Tuya Cloud stays connected for the rest.
This is the "end-side AI + cloud service + ecosystem synergy" pattern in one working setup: an ARM Cortex-A78AE CPU with integrated NPU on the edge, Tuya Cloud on the back end, IoT devices bridged through one framework.

Features
- True Local AI Processing: RDK X5 NPU acceleration for on-device AI inference
- Multi-modal agent capabilities: Vision, audio, text processing powered by local NPU
- Seamless IoT device integration: Local control with cloud connectivity
- Hybrid AI processing: Local NPU + cloud AI for optimal performance
